The new John Cooper Works (JCW) Countryman is the third-gen SUV's most powerful internal combustion variant with 296 bhp and 400 Nm on tap.
Design updates include more aggressive bumpers, a prominent grille with a checkered-pattern finish, 19-inch alloy wheels and dual twin-tip exhaust. It also gets red accents.
Compared to the standard Countryman, the JCW gets sports seats up front, all-black upholstery and red inserts on the dashboard and seats to add to the sporting credentials.
The JCW Countryman gets a unique GoKart drive mode that sharpens performance and enhances the engine and exhaust noises within the cabin.
The JCW Countryman is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit developing 296 bhp and 400 Nm sending power to all-four wheels. Mini claims a 5.2 second 0-100kmph and a 250 kmph top speed.
