MG will introduce a series of hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric models via MG Select dealerships in the next 2 years.
JSW MG has taken a page out of Maruti Suzuki’s playbook, adopting a twin-channel retail strategy to sell a better experience with premium models.
MG Motor is set to introduce a line-up of four-strong premium models to be retailed through the MG Select retail stores, including hybrids, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric models, but no non-electrified models.
MG Select outlets will be opened in 12 major cities across India in the Phase 1 of deployment, beginning early 2025.
The accessible, affordable models currently on sale today will remain in the standard MG dealerships, while more premium offerings will be retailed via MG Select.

MG R7 coupe-SUV, another all-electric model with a 90 kWh battery and a range of up to 600 kilometres, could also be in contention.
MG has also previously showcased the MIFA 9 electric MPV at the 2023 Auto Expo, which is yet another
luxury-focused, high-end model that could be under consideration for launch.
