MG Motor has revealed the new ZS Hybrid+ (Astor in India) for international markets. The compact SUV gets a host of changes to the design, features and powertrain.
The new ZS looks sportier with the wider grille, sleek wraparound headlamps and a redesigned bumper. The rear bears a resemblance to the old BMW X1.
The cabin gets several updates including a new vertical wireless charging pad and a start/stop button on the centre console. The gear lever has been restyled.
The new ZS gets a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a 7-inch digital console, automatic headlights, keyless entry, and more.
The new ZS gets a uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 100 kW electric motor powered by a 1.83 kWh battery pack. The combined output stands at 192 bhp.
MG is expected to bring the new ZS to India possibly next year as the updated Astor. The upgrades will also extend to the ZS EV. The hybrid engine is not confirmed.
