The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift finally gets a CNG option. Here’s what you need to know.
The new Swift CNG comes with the 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine with the output dropped to 68 bhp and 102 Nm, against 80.4 bhp and 112 Nm on the petrol. The motor is paired with only a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The new Swift CNG gets a certified fuel economy figure is 32.85 km per kg.
The new Maruti Suzuki Swift S-CNG is available in the VXI, VXI (O) and ZXI variants.
The Swift CNG has more features than its predecessor including LED headlights with DRLs, alloy wheels, auto climate control, height adjustable driver’s seat, and wireless charging.
The new Swift S-CNG is priced from
₹8.20 lakh, going up to ₹9.20 lakh (ex-showroom). All variants attract a ₹90,000 premium over their petrol counterparts.
