Mercedes-Benz India will introduce the new EQS electric luxury SUV in India soon. Here’s what you need to know.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will be launched on September 16, 2024. The new EQS SUV will join the Maybach EQS SUV, which is the brand’s flagship EV offering.
The EQS SUV isn’t as ostentatious as the Maybach EQS. It gets softer lines, a different front grille, revised bumpers and different alloy wheels.
The EQS SUV will get the same MBUX Hyperscreen as the EQS sedan with a large single-piece display. The EQS SUV is also expected to offer three rows of seating.
The Mercedes EQS SUV is expected to arrive in the top 580 4MATIC variant with a 108.4 kWh battery and a range of 609 km. Power will come from dual motors with 400 kW (536bhp) and 858 Nm.
The new EQS SUV is expected to be priced at around ₹. 1.80 crore, higher than the EQS sedan that’s priced at
₹. 1.62 crore (ex-showroom).
