Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new EQS 580 SUV in India, bringing its sixth EV to the country and just days after the Maybach EQS SUV was launched.
The new EQS 580 gets a contrast black grille, different lighting signatures for the DRLs, tweaked front bumper, and alloy wheels. It’s massive in size measuring over 5 metres.
The cabin gets the MBUX Hyperscreen with a three-screen large single-piece display, a Burmester 3D sound system, ventilated front seats, rear-seat entertainment, a removable tablet and more.
The EQS 580 SUV comes with dual electric motors churning out 536 bhp and 858 Nm. 0-100 kmph comes up in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 210 kmph.

The EQS has a 122 kWh battery pack with an ARAI-certified range of 809 km on a single charge.
Bookings have begun and Mercedes says it has already received over 50 orders. The model is locally assembled in India, which explains the competitive pricing.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 SUV comes at an introductory price of
₹1.41 crore (ex-showroom), which makes it only ₹2 lakh more expensive than the smaller EQE.
