Kia India has revealed the specs of its flagship EV that is set to be launched in our market soon.
Kia will announce the price of the EV9 on October 3, 2024, and it will arrive here in one, fully-loaded, top-spec trim as a full import.
The Kia EV9 will arrive here with a 99.8 kWh battery pack, which is enough to give it a claimed range of 561 kms on a single charge.
The Kia EV9 is equipped with up to 350 kW DC fast charging, which can charge it from 10–80% in just 24 minutes. However, India doesn’t have chargers with such high speeds yet.
The EV9 gets a dual-motor powertrain with one motor powering each axle, making it an AWD SUV.
The Kia EV9 is a huge three-row SUV, measuring over 5 metres in length and nearly 2 metres in width.
The EV9 will be available in India with 5 colour options — snow white pearl, ocean blue, pebble grey, panthera metal, and aurora black.
