The Harrier EV was launched recently at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and it has become Tata's flagship EV offering. Here are the top five features which are a first for a Tata car.
One of its key features is the Quad-Wheel Drive (QWD) setup, which is essentially an all-wheel drive system. The combined output of the dual motors is 391 bhp and 504 Nm.
Given it gets AWD on the higher variants, the Harrier EV features six terrain modes over the standard drive modes: Rock Crawl, Snow, Gravel, Sand, Normal, and a customisable sixth mode.
Another QWD-exclusive feature is an off-road assist or cruise control mode, enabling the car to maintain a low, stead speed over uneven terrain.
The Harrier EV is equipped with a 14.53-inch QLED display, which Tata says is a first in the automotive space.
The Harrier EV is also the first Tata car to come with a transparent view mode through its 360-degree camera system, permitting drivers to see what's underneath the electric SUV.
