Ferrari has taken the wraps off the new F80 hypercar that swaps the V12 for a hybrid V6. Here’s all you need to know about the new Ferrari F80.
The new Ferrari F80 uses a newly
developed hybrid V6 that comes with
a 3.0-litre V6 paired with 3 electric
motors and a combined out of 1200 hp
(1184 bhp).
The new F80 takes inspiration from the iconic Ferraris including the F40 and even the F1 cars to maximise aerodynamics and pay homage to the hypercar legacy.
The F80 uses a carbon-fibre chassis derived from Formula 1, which allows for an adjustable driver’s seat thanks to its asymmetrical pattern. The hypercar also gets butterfly doors.
The Ferrari F80 will enter production in 2025 and has a limited run of just 799 units. The hypercar will be exclusively built in the left-hand drive guise.
