The Citroen Basalt Coupe-SUV deliveries have commenced across India. Here’s where thefirst car has been delivered.
The first Citroen Basalt was handed over to a customer in Delhi with the company management present. The automaker has commenced deliveries across cities nationwide.
The Basalt is the fourth model under the C-Cubed platform after the C3,
e-C3, and C3 Aircross. The coupe SUV is positioned below the C3 Aircross SUV.
The Basalt is India’s first ICE-powered coupe-SUV. It sports a sloping roofline with a shallow rear deck. It also packs more features like auto climate
control, power-folding mirrors, and
adjustable under-thigh support for
rear passengers in the Citroen India
lineup.
The Basalt is available with two engines - 1.2-litre naturally aspirated and 1.2-litre turbo petrol. It’s offered in three trims - You, Plus, and Max.
