BYD India has announced the launch date for the new eMax 7 Electric MPV. Here's when the e6 replacement will hit the market.
The BYD eMax 7 will go on sale on October 8, 2024. Bookings are now open for a token of ₹51,000.
BYD is offering benefits of up to ₹51,000 to the first 1,000 customers who book the eMax 7 before the launch. Buyers also get complimentary 7 kW and 3 kW chargers upon delivery.
The eMax 7 replaces the e6 and has grown proportions, making for better cabin space. The electric MPV promises an extended driving range and comfortable cabin for long-distance travel.
The cabin will get new premium materials, a bigger infotainment screen, and more. The eMax 7 will arrive as a three-row offering against a five-seater layout on the e6.
Expect prices to be from Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). The eMax 7 will primarily compete against the Toyota Innova Hycross hybrid and Maruti Suzuki Invicto hybrid.
