BYD has teased its next offering for India, which will be the facelifted e6 electric MPV with new styling and features, as well as an all-new name for the Indian market.
The BYD e6 facelift will be named the eMAX 7 when it arrives in India with the comprehensive changes.
The eMAX 7 is the upgraded e6 MPV and is being sold in global markets as the BYD M6.
The new BYD eMAX 7 will retain the same basic profile with new styling at the front and rear. The cabin is expected to get a bigger infotainment screen, a panoramic sunroof, and a third row of seats.
The eMAX 7 is likely to continue with the 71.8 kWh battery pack but with a higher range over the current 520 km (claimed). It will feature the same electric motor with 201 bhp and 310 Nm of peak torque.
