BMW F 900 GS Line-up Launched Starting From Rs.13.75 Lakh

BMW has thoroughly updated its middle-weight adventure line-up, equipping the duo with a new engine.

Out With The Old

Gone is the older 853 cc engine and in comes the larger 895 cc parallel-twin, consequently renaming the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure to F 900 GS & F 900 GS Adventure.

In With The New

The new parallel-twin engine is a stressed member of the chassis, and in turn, the chassis has been redesigned too.

Weight Reduction

On the smaller F 900 GS, BMW has made significant strides in lightening the chassis, sub-frame, as well as the engine, bringing the kerb weight down by 14 kgs from the F 850 GS! On the F 900 GS Adventure though, the weight savings are only 2 kgs.

Standard Equipment

Standard equipment includes Road and Rain riding modes, dynamic traction control, 6.5-inch TFT screen including connected features, Akrapovič sport rear silencer, heated grips, adjustable gear and footbrake levers, metal braced hand protectors, and more.

Optional Equipment

Equipment like Dynamic, Enduro, and Enduro Pro riding modes, keyless ride, shift assistant pro, tyre pressure monitoring system, intelligent emergency call, and morecan be added to the F 900 GS as optional extras.

Pricing

BMW Motorrad has launched the F 900 GS starting at ₹13.75 lakh (ex-showroom), and the larger F 900 GS Adventure starting at ₹14.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
