BMW Motorrad has opened bookings for the CE 02 electric two-wheeler in India. This will be the brand’s second electric two-wheeler in the country.
The BMW CE 02 is made in India by TVS under the partnership between both brands and is produced at the Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu.
The electric two-wheeler gets a minimalist design with few body panels and a single flat seat. It rides on 14-inch wheels with wide tyres at the front and rear.
The CE 02 is loaded on features with a 3.5-inch TFT display, USB charging, reverse gear, keyless operation,
all-LED lighting and more.
The CE 02 is globally available with an 11 kW or 4 kW motor option. The 11 kW option has a 95 kmph top speed, while the 4 kW option has a 45 kmph top speed.
The CE 02 gets two 2 kWh battery packs with a 90 km range or can be had with a single 2 kWh battery with a 45 km range on a full charge. Expect prices between ₹. 5-7 lakh.
