The Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP) has released a new display label showing the safety test results of the cars.
The safety labels will indicate the display rating of the vehicle as determined by the Bharat NCAP crash tests. The test itself is voluntary for passenger vehicle makers.
The new display labels will serve as an immediate reference for consumers helping in better decision making before buying a vehicle.
Each sticker will feature a QR code with a detailed report of the vehicle’s crash test results including the variant tested, the date of testing and the safety ratings for children and adults.
