All-Electric Maruti Suzuki EVX Spied On Test!

The first battery-powered offering from India’s largest carmaker is being readied for launch, and has been spotted overseas in production form. Read on for more details.

The road-ready Maruti Suzuki EVX was caught on test in Krakow, Poland, as it had seemingly stopped at a DC fast charger for a quick top-up.

Production EVX seen in Poland

The test mule sports 10-spoke silver alloy wheels, a largely sealed-off front-end, LED projector headlights and a full-width tail-light.

EVX remains true to concept’s design

A peek inside the e-SUV reveals the presence of a a digital instruments display and touchscreen infotainment system arranged into a single, freestanding unit as well as a rotary controller on the centre console.

Twin-screen setup spotted

At its unveiling, Maruti confirmed the EVX concept is equipped with a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which will enable a total range of up to 550 kilometres.
