KTM has pulled the wraps off the India-spec new-gen 390 Adventure. India gets a slightly different version compared to the bike showcased at EICMA. Here’s what you need to know.
KTM is bringing the new 390 Adventure S to India instead of the top-spec R showcased at EICMA 2024. The S brings a more accessible seat compared to the R.
The overall styling is the same as the global model with the vertically-stacked LED headlamp setup, a beak-style front mudguard, a taller windscreen, and chunkier handguards.
The new 390 Adventure S comes with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels with tubed tyres. The bike uses Apollo Tramplr dual-purpose tyres in India.
The new 390 Adventure gets the 399 cc, single-cylinder engine from the new 390 Duke. Power figures are yet to be revealed but expect an identical 46 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque.
The new KTM 390 Adventure S will go on sale in January 2025 alongside the new 390 Enduro R. KTM will also gets the 390 Adventure X with alloy wheels at the same time.
