The 2025 Kawasaki Versys is currently under development and new leaks suggest that the litre-class adventure tourer could get a bigger engine for next year.
The report suggests that the Versys 1000 will get a slightly larger engine making it the ‘Versys 1100’, which will debut at EICMA in November this year or at Intermot in December.
The ADV will not get major changes to the design and will feature the Ninja-inspired front with split LED headlamps, auxiliary lamps, an adjustable windscreen and a large fuel tank.
The displacement on the new Versys 1000 will go up from 1043 cc to 1099 cc, which willproduce around 133 bhp, a 15 bhp jump over the outgoing model.
Expect to see more electronic aids on the upcoming Versys 1100 including rider and ABS modes, traction control, a quickshifter and more. Kawasaki will also bring smartphoneconnectivity via Bluetooth.
