Mahindra has unveiled the Thar.e electric SUV concept. The concept gives us a glimpse into what the Thar SUV might look like upon electrification.

Apart from featuring a boxy silhouette, the Thar.e concept is a major redesign of the Thar, featuring squarish headlamps and taillamps. The concept SUV sits higher off the ground than the current model.
Design
The concept is built on the all-new INGLO platform which will also underpin 5 other SUVs in the future.
All-New Platform
As per the sketches showcased by Mahindra, the interior of the SUV will have a large, driver-focused touchscreen display and a digital instrument cluster. It will also likely have a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

Mahindra to Electrify Entire ICE Lineup
Mahindra announced at the event that it plans to completely electrify its ICE lineup in time and also revealed development plans for the Bolero.e, Scorpio.e and XUV.e, all of which will be underpinned by the INGLO platform.
