The Punch EV is expected to slot in between the Tigor and Nexon EVs in Tata's EV lineup.
Unlike other Tata EVs, the Punch EV will have its charging port incorporated into its front-end, seemingly just above the front bumper. This is a first for Tata and could make it easier for drivers to charge their vehicles.
Charging Port Incorporated Into Front-End
The Punch EV will be the first production Tata model based on the ALFA platform, which is engineered to accommodate both electric and internal combustion powertrains. This means that the Punch EV will have a flat floor and minimal compromise on boot space.
Built on the ALFA Platform
Just as with the Tigor, Tiago, and Nexon EVs, the Punch EV is likely to offer the same battery packs that is offered with the Tigor EV.
Various Battery Options
The Punch EV is expected to make its debut in India in the next few months. Pricing is expected to be around ₹ 8 lakh to ₹ 12 lakh making it an attractive option for buyers looking for an electric micro-SUV.
