The MotoGP race to take place in India will be called the 'Grand Prix of Bharat'
Dorna, the organiser of MotoGP, has signed a 7-year MoU with Fairstreet Sports, who will organise MotoGP in India.
The first 'Grand Prix of Bharat' is expected to take place in 2023, but no confirmation yet.
"It’s a very good product for the Indian market. The technical level is very high, but I think Indian companies whether they are mechanics, manufacturers can only help MotoGP grow in India.” - Carlos Ezpeleta, Chief Sporting Officer, Dorna.
In addition to MotoGP, the race weekend will also have Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE races.
It will be hosted on the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida.
