Simply put the car emits a low-level auditory warning that can be heard up to five feet away. It has been designed to warn other road users that the vehicle is near them

Details on the working of the system is not available though we expect it come into play when the SUV is being driven on electric power alone
Which Variants Get the Tech?
The tech has been rolled out only on the strong-hybrid variants of the Grand Vitara. The SUV’s powertrain allows users to drive in EV-only mode for limited periods of time
The Strong Hybrid Powertrain
The strong hybrid powertrain pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack. The petrol motor is good for 91 bhp and 122 Nm while the motor puts out 79 bhp and 141 Nm. Total system output is 114 bhp
