Kia has made changes, including no manual gearbox for its diesel variants
Kia has made a few silent updates to its product range, including new gearbox and engine choices for the Carens. It has made the IMT gearbox a standard feature for all diesel variants of the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens. The manual gearbox option for the diesel variant is not available any longer

The Kia Carens gets an RDE-compliant GDi 1.5 litre petrol engine which makes 157.8 BHP and 253 Nm of maximum torque. This replaces the older 1.4 litre turbo-petrol engine that made 19.7 BHP less as compared to the new engine

The diesel versions now get the 6-speed IMT and automatic transmission choices. The Seltos could get a facelift later in 2023 with the RDE-compliant petrol mill

The Carens is priced from ₹ 10.45-18.45 lakh while the Seltos comes for ₹ 10.35 lakh onwards although the facelift will soon arrive. The Sonet is priced from ₹ 7.79 lakh and goes up to ₹ 14.89 lakh
