Is Mahindra Planning to Expand Its XUV700 Product Line-Up?

The XUV700 may see new additions to its MX range sometime soon
Mahindra will be unveiling BS-VI Phase-II upgrades for its diesel and petrol engines on the XUV700. They will now be RDE and E20 compliant
Mahindra may also revamp the XUV700’s line-up, making it more attractive for buyers with new trims
Mahindra may come out with an entry-level MX (E) trim for the XUV700. The petrol-AT powertrain may be more accessible for buyers with this MX trim. This MX (E) trim could be slotted between the MX and AX3 trims
The AX3 gets the AdrenoX system with dual 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment. This has led to a substantial price difference between the variants. The new trim will fill up this gap in pricing throughout the diesel and petrol ranges. The features expected for the new trim are still unknown
Mahindra may make it more affordable to buy the petrol-AT option. The automatic gearbox is presently available from only the AX3 trim. It will reduce the pricing for the petrol-automatic variants in the MX guise
