Hyundai India Announces Price Hike Across Model Range
New prices to become effective from January 1, 2024
Why A Price Hike?
The carmaker said that the hike in prices has been necessitated due to the rise in input costs,
increasing commodity prices and an adverse exchange rate among other factors.
By How Much Will Prices Rise?
Hyundai India did not reveal the quantum of hike with company COO Tarun Garg saying its range
of cars and SUVs will see a “minor price increase”
Which Models are Affected?
The price hike will be applicable to all models currently part of the carmaker’s portfolio in India.
What models does Hyundai offer?
Hyundai’s India line-up comprises a wide range of models from hatchbacks like the Grand i10 and
i20 to SUVs like the Exter, Creta, Alcazar and Tucson. The carmaker also offers a pair of sedans –
Aura and Verna, and EVs – Kona and Ioniq 5.

January 16, 2024.
