BMW introduces mild-hybrid V8 engine with two new facelifts
Having showcased the regular X6 and X5 models worldwide, BMW has now taken the wraps off the high-performance versions - X5 M and X6 M Competition models

Both these models have been extensively updated with design tweaks and new 48V mild-hybrid technologies in addition to interior changes as well

Both M versions come with more aggressive designs, complete with blacked-out components in the front. There are new LED headlights shared with the regular versions although they now come with a horizontal louvered grille that is blacked out

The cabin gets the big and curved display setup positioned over the revamped dashboard. There is a 12.3 inch digital instrument console and a touch screen infotainment unit of 14.9 inches

The new models get 48V mild-hybrid systems pairing up with their 4.4 litre V8 twin-turbo engines. This ensures an additional 12 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque. There is a new cross-bank exhaust manifold as well
