A Quick Review of the 2023 Mahindra Thar RWD!

The 2023 Mahindra Thar RWD has created a buzz in the market ever since it arrived

The rear-wheel drive version skips the 4x4 setup of the regular Thar

Along with the 2.0 litre petrol engine, Mahindra is now offering a more compact 1.5 litre CRDe diesel engine in place of the 2.2 litre mHawk

This engine generates 117 BHP of power and 300 Nm of maximum torque

The Thar still offers great pulling capabilities even at lower revs and this takes care of city or highway driving needs alike

The power output, though down by 13 BHP, is still handsome and it feels that way due to the lighter weight of the SUV minus the 4x4 system

There is also a standard 6-speed manual transmission system for deploying power to the rear wheels

The gearshifts are slightly clunkier than desired, this is one area where the Thar needs improvement

Although there is some body roll and bounciness, overall ride and handling is up to the mark. There are no design changes as well

The introductory price tag of ₹ 9.99-13.49 lakh will apply only for the first 10,000 bookings

The interiors and features also remain unchanged for the Thar RWD
