A hatchback from China can be a rival to the Tata Tiago EV
The BYD Seagull has been shown and it is
the smallest electric car from the brand. It is slightly larger than the Tata
Tiago EV
BYD’s new compact hatchback
The BYD Seagull stands at 3,780 mm, which is 10 mm longer
in comparison to the Tiago EV. It is also slightly bigger than the latter with
regard to its height and width
Dimensions
The BYD Seagull gets larger batteries ranging from 30 kWh unit to a bigger 38 kWh option. The Tiago EV gets two battery sizes,
with the bigger one being a 24 kWh lithium-ion pack
Battery Power
The Seagull can go up to 305 km on one charge with the
smaller battery. This is similar to the Tiago EV’s 315 km on a single charge
Driving Range
Nothing has been confirmed by BYD about the Seagull
being launched in the Indian market. The brand currently sells the e6 MPV
and Atto3 in the country
