Royal Enfield sales for a single month crossed 60,000 bikes, with the company selling 60,142 motorcycles in April 2017. Sales are led largely by the Royal Enfield 350 models. Sales of Royal Enfield bikes above 350 cc however, declined in April 2017

Maruti Suzuki Baleno became the second bestselling model in March 2017 with 16,426 units sold - just 2,442 units short of the country's top-selling car - Maruti Suzuki Alto.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India crosses the 5 million mark for units sales for the very first time, in FY2016-17. It sold a total of 5,008,103 units with 12 per cent growth during the same time.

More than 3,800 units of the Honda WR-V have been sold since its launch in India on 16 March 2017, thus making it Honda Cars India's second bestselling car in March 2017.
