Hero Vida V1 Plus & Vida V1 Pro are launched at the premium end of the electric scooter spectrum. Let's see how it's specifications compare with those of its rivals.

With the two new versions of the Hero Vida V1 electric scooter, Hero MotoCorp is offering two separate battery packs delivering different ranges.

Hero will launch the Vida V1 in select cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Bengaluru, followed by the rest of the country.

Hero MotoCorp has confirmed that the Vida range will have an electric motorcycle as well.

The Vida V1 was originally supposed to arrive as early as July this year but the company had to put its launch plans on hold owing to "enormous supply chain issues." Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman & CEO - Hero MotoCorp, says that all the supply chain issues have now been resolved.

Speaking with the media on the sidelines of the launch of the new Vida V1 electric scooter, Hero MotoCorp's Chairman and CEO, Pawan Munjal said that the company is working with Ather Energy on the possibility of being able to use each other's charging infrastructure for their respective electric scooter.

Hero MotoCorp has opened bookings for the Vida V1 electric scooter in just three cities for now – Delhi, Jaipur and Bengaluru. But it will begin taking bookings in eight more cities from December 2022.
