Ford Figo Aspire Showcased to Public in Delhi

Earlier showcased to media at Ford India's new Gujarat based facility in March 2015, the Figo Aspire has now been put on display in Delhi NCR for the public. The campaign, similar to that of the EcoSport's, provides people a first-hand experience of the car and a sneak peek into its features.
The campaign seems to be working in favour of the company too, since the car attracted hundreds of enquiries within the first hour or so. Ford India says that after Delhi, the vehicle will travel to 40 locations in 25 different cities.

"The Figo Aspire with its premium design, class-leading safety features, and advanced technologies will attract 'aspirational' Indians," said Raj Sarkar, Vice President - Marketing, Ford India.
Though the competition in the sub-compact sedan category is too high with products from companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda and Tata, Ford believes that the Figo Aspire has the 'young appeal' that no other product in the segment has.

Coming to the product attributes, the vehicle will be offered with two engine options - a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel and a 1.2-litre TiVCT petrol. While the former is the same that powers the EcoSport and Fiesta, the 1.2-litre petrol unit is all new. The company also revealed that the vehicle will be offered in 2 transmission options - a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual clutch automatic. However, the automatic transmission will only be offered with the petrol model.

Key Features
- 6 Airbags
- Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
- Ford SYNC with AppLink
- Device dock to store, mount and charge mobile phones
- Leather seats
- 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission
