2017 is the year of the Scrambler and we have not one, but two highly lucrative options to choose from. Ducati India introduced the Scrambler Desert Sled earlier this year and now Triumph India has come up with its iteration called the Street Scrambler. The Triumph Street Scrambler extends the Triumph modern classic range in India and is competitively priced, offering a Scrambler with additional off-road oriented equipment.

The Triumph Street Scrambler will be launched later today in India and is the off-road version based on the Street Twin motorcycle. Sharing the same underpinnings, the bike gets light off-road credentials and additional equipment as well.

Triumph Motorcycles will add a new motorcycle to its modern classic range on August 24 in India. The Triumph Street Scrambler shares the same engine with the entry-level Triumph Street Twin but is equipped with some more off-road oriented equipment. We expect the new Triumph Street Scrambler to be priced around Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom). There have been a plethora of Triumph bikes launched this year and we believe there is more to come.

Triumph is all set to launch the Street Scrambler tomorrow. It is based on the Triumph Street Twin, which is the most affordable Triumph bike in India. Of course, the Street Scrambler gets off-road specific equipment, but the engine is the same. We expect the pricing to be around the Rs. 8.2 lakh mark.

The Bajaj CT 100 Electric Start has been launched with an introductory price of Rs. 38,806 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) while prices the bike commands a price tag of Rs. 41,997 (ex-showroom) in Delhi. This is the fourth variant to be introduced on the CT100.

Honda has launched the Cliq in Tamil Nadu. The Honda Cliq Price is Rs. 44,524 (ex-showroom, Chennai). Along with the launch, Honda also announced that it is the biggest two-wheeler seller in Tamil Nadu as well.
