Highlights

Mitsubishi first introduced the Lancer Evolution X Final Edition concept in December, 2014. Now the carmaker has started taking orders for the car. However, one must note that only 1,000 units of the car will be made and it will retail only in Japan.

Originally based on the normal Lancer sedan, this high-performance version first went on sale in Japan in 2007. US, Canada, and UK got the car the following year.

The production version of the farewell model is based on the Evo GSR. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre MIVEC turbo engine and will get only a 5-speed manual transmission. The company has refrained from giving out further details about car's performance.

As far as provisions go, the Lancer Evolution X Final Edition gets 18-inch BBS wheels, Bilstein and Eibach suspension units, and Brembo brakes, 'Final Edition' badging, a numbered dash plaque. Its cabin will sport black leather Recaros with red accent stitching.
