Honda CBR250R Repsol Racing Replica Limited Edition Launched In India

The Honda CBR250R Repsol Racing Replica edition is dedicated to the team's two riders and is available in two different versions - Marc Marquez 93 and Dani Pedrosa 26. The quarter-litre offering gets the paint scheme inspired by the legendary RC213V racing bike and comes with MotoGP graphics, while also wearing the numbers of the two riders, proudly signifying their legacy. However, this isn't the first time Honda has announced the Repsol Racing Replica edition for the CBR250R. The limited edition model had previously been on sale back in 2013, while the standard Repsol edition is part of the 250R's colour options.
Commenting on the introduction of the limited edition CBR250R, HMSI Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, "After witnessing the exemplary performance and success of Repsol Honda Team at the at the 2016 MotoGP season, we wanted to offer customers and racing enthusiasts, a unique experience of owning their very own Repsol Racing Replica motorcycle. We have adopted Team Repsol Honda paint and graphic scheme directly inspired by the legendary RC213V including the numbers of our star riders, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa."
With respect to mechanicals, the Honda CBR250R Repsol Racing Replica limited edition gets no changes and continues to draw power from the 250cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine tuned to belt out 26bhp and 22.9Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The motor comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Team Repsol Honda's success in the 2016 MotoGP season comes with 12 podium finishes and 5 pole positions from Marc Marquez. The 23-year-old was crowned with the title after taking the win at Motegi this year, while Dani Pedrosa won the title having at the San Marino GP this year. Both Marquez and Pedrosa will be racing for Honda in the 2017 season.
