Aside from being adjudged the carandbike Mid-Size SUV of the Year, the tech-laden Mahindra XUV700 was also the pick of the public. Mahindra's SUV took home the honours in the Viewer's Choice Car of the Year award ahead of competitors like the MG Astor, Tata Punch and the Renault Kiger. The XUV700 was also in contention for the overall Car of the Year. Mahindra's SUV certainly doesn't lack in the tech department with fully-loaded models packing in features such as the Mercedes-like dual 10.25-inch screen set-up, a Sony 3D Surround sound system, a comprehensive suite of ADAS features, connected car tech, panoramic sunroof and much more. The diesel engine is a 2.2-litre turbocharged mill developing 153bhp and 360Nm in the MX series and a stronger 182bhp and 420Nm in manual and 182bhp and 450Nm in the automatic variants in the AX series
