Bajaj Pulsar 180 and 220 get new colour schemes
Highlights
Bajaj Auto India has rolled out its flagship bike Pulsar in three new colour schemes - metallic white, sapphire blue and cocktail wine red. The new colours have been made available on the Pulsar 180 and 220. The NS200 already has these colours on offer. The company is also planning to launch the new Pulsar 150 and 180 this year.
There are no mechanical changes made to the bikes. The Pulsar 180 has the same 180cc 4-stroke DTS-i engine, capable of churning out 16.7bhp and 14Nm of peak torque. The Pulsar 220, on the other hand, derives its power from a 220cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.7bhp and 19Nm of torque. Both the motorcycles come with a five-speed gearbox.
At the 2014 Auto Expo in February, Bajaj had unveiled the Pulsar SS400 and CS400, which too will be launched in India. But before these 400cc bikes, the company might launch the Pulsar RS200.
Bajaj Pulsar 180 and 220 are priced at Rs 68,537 and Rs 79,838 (ex-showroom, Pune), respectively.
