BMW, today, revealed the first pictures of the upcoming 1 series facelift ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. Since the company sells the 1 Series in India as well, the updated model will also enter our shores by the end of this year.

Talking about the changes, the 2016 1 Series gets both exterior and interior changes along with a new range of three-cylinder engines. That said, the new engine might not come to India. The facelifted 1 Series gets a new front fascia thanks to the new bumper, larger grille with slimmer headlamps. The vehicle also gets LED daytime running lamps as a standard feature, and the company will also offer all-LED headlamps with LED high-beam. The rear lights have also been redesigned, as they now display the "L" shape characteristic of BMW models and reveal LED-powered lights.

The company has also announced to offer a single-zone climate control across all models as a standard feature. That said, buyers can also get the optional dual-zone system.
