You know how the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is also referred to as the 'Best car in the world'? Now imagine a modded version of the car that attempts to challenge Daimler's sovereignty.

Say hello to the ARES Atelier Mercedes-Benz S-Class XXL - a stretched S-Class with a new carbon fiber body kit that reinforces the car's structure.

What's so special about an even more luxurious version of the luxury car, you ask. Well, the good guys at ARES also offer extra protection for the car; the kind of protection that not only promises emergency mobility, but also defense against military weapons and explosives. The car can even be equipped with a Bomb detector. How cool is that! That said, all this will cost you a little bit more.

Based in Modena, Italy, the tuning company has also added a new front grille, bumpers, rear diffuser, and sideskirts. The limousine also offers improved performance with an upgraded ECU to 520-850bhp, and a top-speed of 265Km/h. It can also go from 0 - 100Km/h in just 4.5 seconds. However, that's not all; the souped up S-Class also gets 6mm thick tempered side glass, exclusive ARES Carrozzeria ultra light 21-inch forged wheels, augmented brakes, a steel sports exhaust system, and a polished gearbox.
