Unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo, the new Fiesta facelift is now all set to launch in the Indian market later this month. The company has started the production of the vehicle and the first batch of cars have already been delivered to few dealers, while others are waiting for their allotment. We spoke a couple of Delhi based dealers, who said that the training of sales executive have already been conducted and the car might launch very soon.

The company will project the new Fiesta to be a 'premium' mid-sized sedan and will bring only in diesel avatar, so expect the car to come with a price tag of around Rs 9.5-10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the new family grille, revised bumper, bonnet and fog lam positioning, the front fascia of the new Fiesta appears more attractive . The rear too receives new bonnet and revised tail lamps. The side profile remains more or less similar. Inside the cabin, the updated fiesta has new black-beige colour dashboard and the gloss-black plastic used on the centre console, which give it an up-market feel. The design, however, remains unchanged.

As mentioned above, the 2014 Fiesta will be launched only in diesel avatar, powered by the same 89bhp 1.5-litre unit.
