  • Teaser only shows the headlights and the front grille, but partially.
  • 2023 BMW 3 Series is likely to debut next month.

There's a new BMW 3 Series coming our way, and the German carmaker took to social media to announce its arrival. Led with just “Coming soon”, the teaser image of the 2023 BMW 3 Series only shows the headlights and the front grille, partially though. The rest of the car is under shadow and doesn't reveal much about the upcoming premium executive sedan. Although unverified, we expect the new BMW 3 Series to make its global debut sometime next month, or by early July, since the new BMW M3 CSL is slated for a May 20 debut while the BMW M3 Touring is expected by June 2022.

Now, there's not much to go about from the teaser image, but recent spy shots of the camouflaged BMW 3 Series do reveal a tad bit about the car, such as headlights losing the notch at the lower section and no break in the outlining daytime LEDs. The notch on the front fascia is also skipped and made smoother than before, while the new intakes on the corner add to the width of the car. At the back, we expect the changes to be minimal with subtle changes to the design of the taillights.

Changes on the inside are in fact substantial, and so we expect a larger, curved display, most likely sourced from the BMW iX electric car. The 2023 BMW 3 Series would also receive design changes to the climate control vents, however, a major change would come in the form of a new steering wheel. The tech inside the car would also receive a rather comprehensive upgrade. Mechanically, we expect no changes and would continue to employ the 2.0-litre petrol engine.
